Takuya Yamada joined Fosun in 2015. Prior to joining IDERA, Mr. Yamada formerly served in the Sydney Branch and New York Branch of Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co (Now is Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited), and joined Japan Branch of AIG global real estate and became a Representative Director in Japan. After Invesco acquired AIG, he was appointed as Managing Director of Invesco Global Real Estate, in charge of property acquisition and asset management in Japan and Asia Pacific markets. He has over 30 years of work experience in real estate investment and asset management. He has played a leadership role in asset acquisitions valued at more than JPY 1.3 trillion, including REIT IPO in Japan. Mr. Yamada graduated from Cornell University in US with Master of studies in Law.

Seiji Takeuchi Joined IDERA in 2007. Mr. Takeuchi has over 20 years of work experience in real estate and banking industry. He oversees sourcing, due diligence, loan procurement, documentation and execution of acquisition department. He has undertaken about JPY400 billion of transactions across variety or sectors including residential, offices, hotels and retail properties. Prior to joining IDERA, he spent 9 years in Mizuho Bank and was involved in project finance as well as acting as account manager for corporate lending. He has a BA in law from WASEDA University.

Fumihiko Niwa

career

Fumihiko Niwa joined IDERA in 2021. He has over 30 years of work experience in finance and accounting fields as well as corporate restructuring at multiple international companies. Mr. Niwa started his career at KPMG US where he practiced as a USCPA in audit, tax, and consulting departments. After returning to Japan in 1999, he was involved in real estate asset management work including setting up REIT, corporate IPO, and corporate restructuring at Goldman Sachs Realty Japan and Aetos Japan. He was appointed as Executive Director and Chief Accounting Officer of Morgan Stanley Capital K.K. in 2007 where he sought to improve work efficiency and strengthen internal controls after the financial crisis in 2008. He joined Accordia Golf as Director in 2016 and as CFO of Accordia Golf Trust Management in Singapore in 2018 where he was responsible for finance and accounting as well as investor relations. He has a BA in Accounting from Chapman University in the U.S.

Hideki Ota joined IDERA in 2023. Mr. Ota formerly served the security business subsidiary in London and real estate investment management department of Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co (Now is Sumitomo Mitsui Trust and Banking Limited), and delt with real estate brokerage, trust business as well as investment banking business in Citigroup, Merrill Lynch. After leaving Merryll Lynch, he led the capital markets business in Jones Lang LaSalle and Colliers International. Through the robust experiences, he has been involved in property transactions valued more than JPY 1 trillion including several over-US 1billion trophy deals. Mr. Ota graduated from Kelly School of Business, Indiana University (MBA) .

Nami Sera joined IDERA in 2018. Her role in IDERA were investor relations, fund raising and portfolio management. Ms. Sera started her career at Haseko Corporation, then joined acquisition division of AIG Global Real Estate, where she completed over JPY 450 bn of acquisitions in various asset types. Ms. Sera was then appointed as Managing Director, in charge of fund raising and investor relations, where she raised 3 discretionary funds and several non-discretionary funds. She also supervising finance and legal functions. Prior to IDERA, she was at Bureau of Urban Development, Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Ms. Sera holds BA in Commerce from Waseda University and MBA from Simon School, University of Rochester.

Akira Nagahama

career

Akira Nagahama Joined IDERA in 2011. He has approximately 20 years of management experience including private funds and public REITs. Since joining IDERA, he has been primarily in charge of asset management and acquisition operations for private funds, and has been engaged in asset management of JPY 50 billion including office and residential assets. He was seconded in 2015 to Mitsui Bussan & IDERA Partners, asset manager of Mirai REIT, to take role in acquisition and general management of the REIT. He returned to IDERA in April 2023 to assume asset management role and is currently Head of Asset Management Division.
Prior to joining IDERA, he worked at Pacific Holdings Co., Ltd. in the acquisition business, then at Pacific Commercial Co., Ltd. engaging in asset management for commercial facilities, housing, etc. as well as at Japan REIT Advisors Co., Ltd. He holds building manager and real estate trader certifications.

Kenji Tsuchihashi

career

Kenji Tsuchihashi joined IDERA in 2013 at the same time as the establishment of the West Japan office. Mr. Tsuchihashi is in charge of increasing the value of many properties west of Nagoya for properties managed by IDERA and group companies as the Asset Management Department. Since 2015, he has been in charge of sourcing as the acquisition department, a wide range of properties, mainly in western Japan, such as residences, offices, logistics, hotels, retail, and leasehold land, and has supported approximately 100 billion yen in real estate investment so far. Based on the market environment, his strength is in proposing aggressive value enhancements that anticipate trends one step ahead of the industry. Prior to joining IDERA, he spent 14 years at CBRE engaged in project management centered on marketing and leasing of office and commercial properties.
